Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Logistics / Warehouse Analyst for a 12 Month + Contract. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
This role will support go-live of the new ERP system. This role will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues with products held due to insufficient ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) information needed for receipt, as well as leading material review meetings with quality engineers to repackage and resolve damaged products. This role will work with numerous stakeholders in supply chain, quality, manufacturing, sourcing across the globe to address the issues. This role will review top re-occurring issues and will be asked to find a root cause to close the issue from re-occurrence.
- Manage damaged inventory and lead meetings with quality engineers to resolve damage and repackage products according to established procedures
- Uses ERP system to investigate product history and resolve issues with incoming products.
- Ensures required stock is on hand or on order to support operations.
- Serves as a link between quality, engineering, customer service, production control and manufacturing to provide feedback on potential bottleneck areas.
- Prepares documentation and reports on progress of work and supply chain issues.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years work experience or internship
- Bachelor's degree, preferred in supply chain.
- Prior experience in Warehousing/Distribution/Logistics (ERP or WMS)
- Analytical skills (MS Excel, Power BI, or other)
- Supply chain skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Examples of communicating difficult messages or business updates to leadership (clear, concise communication strategy)
