About the Job
We are currently looking for a Logistics Technician to work on one of our projects in Amarillo, Texas. This is a full time onsite position.
What you'll do:
- Schedule, communicate and coordinate deliveries with Vendors and Freight Forwarders to job site.
- Coordinate and track all deliveries with logistics and site team.
- Coordinate the urgency of material to site.
- Follow the scheduled deliveries up and make sure that packing slips and all necessary items are provided to logistics and site team.
- Upload all logistics documents in SharePoint.
- Build and maintain up-to-date a contact database of Logistic suppliers (storage) and Freight Forwarders.
- Develop relationships with Logistics suppliers and Freight forwarders to support the business activities.
- Create Freight Purchase order's in Foundation.
- Politely, effectively and succinctly communicate with vendors, freight forwarders, logistics agencies and co-workers.
- Apply the process and procedures developed by Employee's supervisor in the execution of the tasks.
- Perform other general support duties as assigned by Employee's supervisor.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures as set forth in an Employee Handbook or otherwise published by Company from time to time.
- Comply with the terms of the Employee Confidentiality, Non-Compete, and Invention Assignment Agreement executed by Employee.
What you'll bring:
- An educational or experience-based background in Business Administration, bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Two (2) years of construction logistics experience, preferably in renewable energy projects.
- Ability to interact/communicate effectively in a professional and pleasant manner with Companies customers, vendors, affiliates, stakeholders, owners, management, and employees.
- Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate proficiently within the in-house computer software programs and Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook, Salesforce and Box.com.
- Must have a good driving record and maintain a valid Driver's License
