Logistics Supervisor - University Health System- San Antonio

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Support customer service and delivery activities by coordinating and directing teams tasked with receiving, staging, and delivery of supplies/equipment. Focus on supply chain coordination and personnel management. Provide time management and attention to detail to ensure that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. Ensure that team members comply with policies and maintain a high level of safety. Assists and works closely with the Logistics Manager and the Prime Vendor Analyst on all delivery concerns. A personal commitment to treat all Health System customers with courtesy, dignity, respect and professionalism and adhere to the University Health System Commitment to service excellence behaviors and standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
An associate degree in business, supply chain management, materials management or fields or eight years of logistics experience can offset the Associate’s degree requirements. Three years of supervisory experience in the Materials Management functions is required. Computer data entry and use of Materials Management Information System experience is required.
