Logistics Specialist with Security Clearance - EWA

TITLE: Logistics Specialist LOCATION: Redstone Arsenal, AL CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active DoD Secret security clearance TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 25% travel EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, On-site POSITION SUMMARY EWA Warrior Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Specialist with a background in DoD or military supply and inventory management. The selected candidate will split their time between the warehouse, field, and office environments, ensuring the seamless flow of operations and maintaining inventory accuracy. Professional candor and strong communication skills are a must, as this role involves direct interaction with DOD civilians and key personnel. RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to): * Support logistics operations, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of material in accordance with DoD and military supply chain standards.
* Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate data entry into logistics software systems.
* Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
* Liaise with internal teams and external customers to resolve any logistical or inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Coordinate with suppliers and transportation companies to schedule timely deliveries and pickups.
* Ensure compliance with all federal regulations, DoD policies, and organizational standards.
* Prepare reports on inventory status, shipping activities, and performance metrics to management and customers.
* Manage and optimize the use of warehouse space, ensuring that goods are stored efficiently and safely.
* Stock, store, receive, ship, move, count, and issue material in warehouse and field environments. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. * Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management, with DOD and/or military background.
* Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
* Knowledge of DoD regulations and military supply chain processes.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface directly with customers.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high standards of accuracy.
* Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
