Logistics Manager - Still Austin Whiskey Co.

Logistics & Fulfillment Manager.

Will oversee all aspects of customer order processing, warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping preparation, and all internal and external logistics coordination. The Fulfillment & Logistics Manager will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, reporting to Vice President of Production. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation.

• Coordinating with customers and distributors to fulfill and ship purchase orders within an appropriate timeframe 

• Responsible for the scheduling and managing of inbound and outbound logistics at all Still Austin warehouse location to ensure timely delivery of products and prevent inventory shrinkage.

• Driving inventory control of material to ensure on-time delivery to customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels to meet the site business objectives.

• Coordinate with Vice President of Production that correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are utilized to ensure proper order generation and inventory balances.

• Drive standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, logistics management, warehouse management and order fulfillment to meet operational goals.

• Support key stakeholders in optimizing procurement and vendor management strategies to improve lead times and overall production performance. 

• Responsible for a team of warehouse staff to support warehousing and inventory control initiatives and ensuring best warehouse practices are met daily. Owns coordinating movements of the team throughout all Still Austin locations.

• Collaborate with production teams to schedule production runs based on demand forecasts and inventory levels, ensuring timely availability of raw materials and components. Responsible for staging all needed production materials appropriately and communicating quickly on any issue with materials 

• Reporting weekly on multiple fulfillment and performance KPIs, providing data-backed updates to management to improve order fulfillment and vendor performance.

Skills and Requirements

• Proven track record of analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.

• 4+ years of experience in logistics, supply management, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position. Experience in brewery, distillery, or CPG operations preferred. Will be responsible for some compliance documentation 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), and in Whiskey Systems handling the inventory management systems and warehouse management systems.

• Detail-oriented with multitasking capabilities.

• Must be fork lift certified and able to operate forklift on a daily basis
