POSITION OVERVIEW (Job Summary):
We are seeking an experienced logistics coordinator to join our growing organization. In this position, you will oversee and manage our entire supply chain. You will organize and monitor the storage and distribution of goods, ensuring optimum efficiency and productivity with an eye on all stages of the order cycle. Our overall goal is to find the right person to manage the entire process, enhancing business growth, ensuring sustainability, and increasing customer satisfaction.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments.
- Report defective goods.
- Receive goods into inventory using SAP software.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts of items in stock to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot variances in inventory.
- Pull and issue parts (using SAP) from stock for production jobs.
- Palletize and pack outbound shipments in accordance with procedure.
- Occasionally perform assembly work as required with simple tools.
- Operate pallet jack and hand tools.
- Oversee the delivery of products, ensuring documentation is accurate.
- Manage customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot any problems that arise and handle complaints.
- Comply with all regulations, laws, and policies.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in standard logistics software
- Strong data entry skills
- Exceptional analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least two years’ related experience required.
- SAP, Sales, and Distribution experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs at a time.
- Prolonged periods of standing,
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping
- Sitting at a desk working on a computer
- Withstand uncontrolled environment, winter, summer, spring, fall seasons in a manufacturing atmosphere.
