About the Job
Provide logistics-related program support to the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) team of a ground combat vehicle acquisition office.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide logistics-related program support to the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) team of a ground combat vehicle acquisition office.
Assist the FMS team with development of proposals to support FMS customers.
Provide input to logistics plans and strategies to support the FMS team.
Assist FMS team with case development.
Attend meetings with the FMS team and FMS customers as required. Some of these meetings may be in-person.
Note: This position is expected to be a part time (approximately 10 hours per week) position.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelors degree in Mathematics or Engineering with 12 years of tactical vehicle maintenance/logistics experience.
Knowledgeable about Integrated Logistics Support functions for FMS offices for ground combat vehicles.
Experience with providing coordination of logistics support for development, testing, fielding and future support of fielded equipment.
Experience representing PM offices at In-Process Reviews, Integrated Logistics Support Meetings, Start of Work, and Design Review, Front End Analysis and Technical Manual Validation and Verification meetings to provide instruction and direction to contractor concerning logistical issues.
Experience with developing Statements of Work.
Experience with recommending Repair Parts Lists and initiated procurement of parts and special tool support packages for testing and initial fielding.
Desired Skills:
Acquisition Logistics Level III Certification.
