About the Job
A major transportation and ocean logistics company, located in Carson CA, is seeking a detail-oriented Logisitcs Customer Service Rep for their busy operations center.
This is a long-term, Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering a chance to learn a new industry and become a valued member of the overall operations team.
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay Rate: $19
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5pm
- Filing and scanning of docket folders
- Check documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance
- Good alphabetizing skills and detail oriented
- Data entry
- Will be trained to work on several accounts
- Shipping & Receiving
- Inventory
- Billing
- Will learn import/export business
- Help out and learn other functions of logistics business
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Excellent PC skills - Outlook, Excel and Word
- Excellent organizational skills, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Multitask; able to work independently or as part of a team
- High caliber customer service focus- engaged and helpful
- Excellent attendance and punctuality is very important to them.
