Essential Job Summary::Reporting to the Director of Operations – MRF, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for professional work in support of Newark MRF operation. This position will be responsible for coordinating all outbound loads from the site to insure timely and efficient movement of material from the site to end markets and disposal sites. In addition, the role will be responsible to produce a variety of reports related to the overall operation, act as a back-up to the scale personnel, as well as provide overall support working with our Safety and HR departments as necessary for the site.

- Managing daily inbound and outbound materials - scheduling with subcontractors and end markets
- Coordinating with facility manager to keep outbound inventory at minimum levels
- Ability to review processes and identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Making sure all permits, and monthly scale calibrations are up to date and schedule services if necessary
- Performs data entry, verification, and approval of PC Scale software, being the main contact between the scale attendant group and other resources at MRF location
- Reviews data and reports to ensure that scales and recording devices are operating properly. Coordinates necessary repairs with Facility Manager
- Verifies that all data has been keyed properly daily prior to day-end billing. Ensures that all data from outside sources (inspector tablets) have been properly uploaded into the scale house system
- Works with site supervisors and facility manager to ensure smooth operations, excellent customer service, and adequate scale house coverage during all hours of operation
- Coordinates efforts with IWS IT department and scale attendants when scale house software/hardware repairs and/or updates are necessary
- Maintains courteous and professional relationships with co-workers, other IWS employees, and external customers
- Maintains effective and open communications with site supervisors.
- 1-3 years’ experience from the transportation industry strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Salary Range Minimum:USD $25.00/Hr.Salary Range Maximum:USD $27.00/Hr.
