What's the position?

The Logistic Coordinator position helps coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and processes receiving and shipping documents, performs administrative procedures to quality and productivity standards. Communicates with Internal Departments, Carriers, and Customers as needed.

Task include:

• Answers and Directs Incoming Calls as needed to the Warehouse Office.
• Performs computer functions to generate and administer documents
• Responsible for assisting in filing and coordinating record keeping of Incoming and outgoing shipments as well as other Warehouse records. e.g. Master Sanitation Sched, Locker Inspections, Pallet Inspections, Driver Transfer Logs, Daily Production Reports etc…
• Responsible for coordinating completion of special instructions e.g. Lot Numbers, container number, quantities etc… noted on Sales Orders at time of Shipment.
• Communicates via phone and e-mail with Internal Departments, Carriers and Customers to facilitate Incoming Materials and Outgoing Product.
• Facilitates/Communicates transfer of Finished Product, Packaging, Ingredients, Pallets etc… between facilities.
• Coordinate QA Hold / Release Notifications with Warehouse Personnel.
• Ensure all GMPs, departmental procedures and company policies are followed within the warehouse
• Helps Coordinate Disposals to Waste or Recycling.
• Coordinates Ordering Brown and Export Pallets with Warehouse Operators.
• Coordinates Pick Ups of PECO pallets.
• Coordinates Ordering, Delivery and Tracking of CHEP pallets.

What you bring:

• 2 to 5 Years’ experience in Shipping / Receiving and Transportation.
• Experienced in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
