About the Job
Brandt Agricultural Products is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Hudson, IL location.
This position is responsible for the efficient distribution of all outgoing materials including Finished Products to our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Amalgamate and sort all customer orders for our finished products
- Plan shipments of product based on trucking routes and geographical areas
- Ensure production is building the correct quantities to meet the requirements planned on future truckloads and setups
- Ensure all customer orders are credit approved through a finance company, COD, or approved for release before they are shipped
- Maintain overall accuracy of the entire inventory setup
- Other duties as assigned

- Be the central point of communication regarding load status to internal Sales, Order Fulfillment, and Customer Service teams as well as External Customers.
- Coordinate Will Call and Dealer Pick Up of finished goods directly with customers and customer assigned carriers.
- Manage and schedule incoming orders for outside and internal customers
- Amalgamate and sort all customer orders by product, customer and territory to minimize cost and achieve delivery expectations
- Ensure that the daily/weekly/monthly shipping schedules are current and up to date with all planned product and prioritized based on customer demand
- Ensure that all required documentation for each load is forwarded to necessary parties as needed
- Work in alignment with planning personnel to develop, review and confirm information regarding various projects, dates and capacities
- Help reduced Planning efforts through Lean Initiatives and Continuous Improvement
- Troubleshoot any obstacle impeding on-time delivery by evaluation the process and request adjustments where needed
- Communicate with customers, supervisors, managers, shipping team, warehouse to ensure everything is in alignment to achieve shipping commitments
- Be the contact person from Planning to the rest of the business in regards to order fulfillment
- Maintain orderliness in keeping with 5S principles
- Coordinate all on-site product setups to include: scheduling with contractors, publishing status, managing shortages, and coordinating tow outs.
- Cross-trained in all aspects of logistics for creating loads and shop planning to cover for absenteeism
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting finished goods as needed.
- Any other tasks as required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suit (specifically Excel and Outlook)
- Must be a self starter and be capable of working under minimum supervision
- Must be able to communicate and partner with hourly Retail and Shipping staff as well as Management
- Forklift experience is considered an asset
- Manufacturing, Planning and order fulfillment experience an asset.
- Demonstrate the ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt quickly to change.
