The Logistics Billing Coordinator in Logistics Business Operation will perform billing system administration, vendor payment, customer service, and financial activities including payments, reporting, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities:
- Process customer billing accurately on or before deadlines as per requirements and according to company policy.
- Manage, analyze & prepare correction forms for billing corrections in access database.
- Review and discuss essential freight documentation that supports charges invoiced and is required for payment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail which able to research and resolve invoice discrepancies with internal and external contacts to ensure proper accounting entry and processing in a timely manner.
- Use knowledge and gain understanding of how billing functions affect P&L.
- Audit carrier freight bills and interpret tariffs and contracts.
- Work with the internal technologies required for daily functions.
- Investigate and diagnose potential errors and duplicate carrier billing.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting, as required.
- Perform other job related duties as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance/business management related experience or related experience in logistics and transportation industry required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables)
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, to shift focus to urgent issues while not falling behind on other duties
- Possess a positive attitude and ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to abrupt changes
- Well organized and good follow up skills
- Ability to sense urgency and know when to escalate for assistance
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with customers and carriers
- Ability to work overtime when needed

Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows you to progress as you grow and develop within the position. The base pay range for this role is between $28 ~ $32/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location.
