What You Will Do:
- Manually picks full-case orders and stacks them onto pallets using a scanner/tablet
- Ensure proper staging and identification once an order has been completely picked
- Use various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach truck and propane lift) to move pallets
- Verify quantities, quality of items and proper labeling of products that are being shipped
- Examine all packaging and contents of items for quality
- Verify all packaging information against the packing list and SAP
- Coordinate with other departments such as customer service, production, instant and small pack
- Manage shipping box assembly, induction for packaging and label preparation/application
- Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets
- Identify items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicate with Supervisor and/or Lead
- Maintain the 5S cleanliness of the picking area and pulls completed shrink-wrapped orders to the dock for packers
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
- Follow all warehouse procedures and policies
- Other duties as assigned
Position Details:
- Site location: High Point, NC
- Weekday shifts available as follows:
- 1st shift Mon - Fri, 6:00AM to 2:30PM
- 2nd shift Mon - Fri, 2:00PM to 10:30PM
- 3rd shift Sun - Thurs, 10:00PM to 6:30AM
- Compensation package offered: $20.00 per hour base pay with additional shift differential of $1.00 for 2nd shift and $1.50 for 3rd shift
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 year of warehouse experience
- 1 year of stand up forklift operator experience
- No immigration sponsorship offered for this role
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
- Must be able to drive a stand up forklift
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year or more experience with Raymond reach truck
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
