Primary Responsibilities:
- Works primarily in the facility and stock room environments to facilitate the planning, scheduling, and managing of materials movement
- Works cross-functional with Production Floor, Engineering, Configuration Management, Program stakeholders, and Procurement
- Receives, repackages, and marks parts from incoming shipments
- Transacts goods receipts, location transfers, and issues in ERP system
- Manages manufacturing orders through their entire cycle
- Maintains inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts
- Schedules and executes customer and vendor shipments
- Required to take radiation worker training and work with or around radioactive material
- Tracks Government property
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Proficient in MS365 such as Outlook, Excel, Word
- Working knowledge of manufacturing order (MO) processing (MO opening, picking parts, issuing parts, MO closing)
- Familiar with structure of bill of materials
- Reliable, attention to detail
- Flexible with willingness to roll up sleeves and pitch in wherever help is needed. - OSHA forklift operator certification or the ability to obtain it
- Ability to lift, turn, and carry heavy objects (up to 50lbs), including organizing pallets for shipments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cost point and PDM/SVN a plus
- Former military experience in Logistics a plus
- Ability to analyze material counts and resolve inventory discrepancies during cycle counts
- Ability to support entry-level production assembly tasks as needed
