We are currently seeking a Logistics Analyst to support our Pax River, MD customer. The TACCOM Logistics Analyst is responsible for tracking all life cycle requirements of modernized communication capabilities for the ARC-210 program. Candidate analyzes and coordinates logistics functions for the Secure Communications integration projects across Naval Aviation. Performs various tasks related to the development, operation,evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportabilityand/or maintainability programs and information systems. Works onlogistics and maintainability programs and with logistics andmaintenance control organizations on issues such as: technicalevaluation and identification of weapons systems logisticsrequirements and resources; development of logistics support andmaintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirementsanalysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle costanalysis and control; weapons systems hardware and softwarestandardization and compatibility; Integrated Logistics Support(ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test andevaluation planning and execution; and, ILS/R&M programmanagement analysis. Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates,researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financialdata and information. Develops, modifies, prepares, or validatesdocumentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance datareporting systems, and management information systems.
Minimum Educational Requirement: BS or BA degree or working towards Professional LogisticsCertification. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five(5) years of experience working in direct support of Defense life-cyclelogistics can be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Minimum Experience Requirement: At least six (6) years of experience in NAVAIR avionics supportequipment life-cycle (acquisition) logistics is required.
Due to the sensitivity ofcustomer-related requirements, the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
