Temp – Hire
Worksite: Rancho Dominguez, CA
Work Schedule: (days/hours): Monday-Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: $23-$25/hr (DOE)

EXPERIENCE IN TRUCKING & LOGISTICS IS A MAJOR PLUS
Responsibilities
• Scheduling timely transportation services
• Allocating Drivers for various transportation services such as pickups and deliveries
• Explaining and negotiating contract terms with drivers and other vendors
• Generating and processing transportation documents and invoices
• Keeping a track of the transportation budget and expenses
• Examining driver logbook entries
• Developing and implementing transportation policies and procedures
• Recruiting and overseeing the performance of the transportation stuff
• Coordinating with the Transportation Manager to optimize transportation services
• Ensuring compliance with the industry regulations and requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Transportation Specialist, Transportation Administrator, or a similar role in the Logistics department
• Complete knowledge of the industry rules, regulations, and logistics procedures
• Familiarity with logistics/Port/containers industry
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
