The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can manage logistics operations with minimal supervision.
This position will oversee the daily operations of the Shipping. Arranges shipping methods and documentation for all outbound production orders and incoming shipments. Serves as the primary point of contact for companies that provide shipping services. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a shipment clerk, you will be responsible for the following duties:
This position will oversee the daily operations of the Shipping. Arranges shipping methods and documentation for all outbound production orders and incoming shipments. Serves as the primary point of contact for companies that provide shipping services. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a shipment clerk, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily review of the shipping list with high attention to detail to prioritize shipping orders.
- Understand the production process and location of parts to prioritize the on-time shipment.
- Communicate with the correct personnel to identify the status of the parts to be shipped.
- Use appropriate packing methods to ensure parts are secured for shipment with minimal damage to parts.
- Coordinating domestic and international shipments.
- Preparing products for shipment, including but not limited to boxing, crating, and securing packaging by applying protective packaging.
- Operate forklift trucks/ Loading and unloading freight trucks. Maintain a neat and orderly work area, complying with all safety protocols.
- Maintaining organization and high attention to detail is extremely important.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, adept computer skills, and be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Communicate effectively and excel in good communication skills.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Shipment receiving experience preferred.
- Planning Methods/Techniques.
- Extensive Knowledge of Formers International’s stock parts and raw material.
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
- Monday board.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Initiative: Action Oriented/Sense of Urgency.

- Communication (writing, speaking, listening).
- Must be able to pass forklift safety training program.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
