Requirements Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is looking for an experienced Thoracic OR Physician Assistant to join their team! Job of Coverage: March 2025-May 2025Reason for Coverage: PA out on maternity leavePractice Setting: Operating room clinicRate Type Options: DailySchedule: 4 days per week 10-hour daysNo CallAverage Number of Patients Per Day: VariesDocumentation System/EMR: EpicTrauma Level/Designation: 2APP Working Autonomously: YesTraining or Experience Required: Thoracic PA experience in the operating room and pre-op testing no new gradsPatient Age Demographic: Adult*Looking for a PA who is very experienced with robotic lung resections and foregut surgery. more experienced in bedside assisting docking the robot etc. * Locum to Perm Reduction in Conversion hours = 2500 reduction320-639 hours = 3500 reduction640hours = 4500 reductionRegardless of number of hours a NP/PA has worked reduction will not exceed 4500Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days Henry Ford does not reimburse for background checks or credentialing fees Henry Ford does not reimburse for application or credentialing fees. Note from the client since we have had little luck on this need: For cardiac OR...robotic experience is a bonus but not a must. If we can find a cardiac PA with extensive experience as first assist we might be able to utilize that PA and offset and use one of our current PAs for thoracic.
Schedule Days, 4 days / week; 10 hour days
