In this position, you'll operate a tractor with an end dump trailer (and sometimes heavy equipment like front-end loaders) while building strong connections with the Nevada Gold Mines. You'll also assist with loading and unloading your loads, all within a typical 8-10-hour workday. Enjoy flexible hours, to keep your work-life balance in check.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Deliver and pick up grinding ball media with a strong focus on customer service.
• Load and unload grinding ball media for the mines.
• Operate an End Dump tractor trailer and sometimes a Material Handler.
• Secure all loads to ensure safe transport.
• Keep equipment clean, roadworthy, and in top-notch condition.
• Follow all local and federal transportation regulations.
• Maintain clear, timely, and accurate paperwork.
• Represent Metro Group with a friendly, professional attitude

What We're Looking For:

• Knowledge of DOT reports and regulations.
• A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Courteous and patient demeanor-whether on the road, at customer sites, or in the yard.
• 2-5 years of Class A driving experience, preferably with End-Dump trailer and manual-transmission experience.
• Top-notch interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically able to climb into trucks/trailers and lift 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must pass background check, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and a DOT drug screen.
