Essential Functions:
- Support the financial advocate team by ordering, reviewing, and verifying supporting loan documentation needed to meet underwriting and loan requirements; Draw loan documents and facilitate the closing of credit cards, unsecured loans, vehicle loans, home equity lines of credit and home equity loans; Work with internal and external members, third parties and vendors, where applicable and necessary; Board completed loans into the core servicing system and disburse funds appropriately according to member requests and underwriter requirements; Create and send wires on members' behalf when requested as part of the loan disbursement process.
- Conducts quality control loan reviews to ensure consistency and accuracy in borrowers/owners, amount financed, term, interest rate, APR, payment amount, due date, recission terms, and HMDA Data; Ensures accuracy and consistency cross loan origination system, financial core, and documents; supports HMDA data validation on applicable home equity loans.
- Provides support on loan servicing related tasks, reports, member requests and processes, including but not limited to: indirect loan funding and account opening, loan and account maintenance, documentation requests, all aspects of lien perfection and release, total losses, and unearned premium refunds; Acts as escalation point for more complex loan processing and servicing needs and provides support and works with loan servicer to resolve servicing needs including: lien filing rejection and SCRA rate reductions. Provides support to peers on matters including loan and collateral structures, subordination request, and loan reconstructions.
- Maintains up to date knowledge related to lending procedures, policies, and regulations related to consumer and home equity loans; Trains and assists junior or peer lending services team members on relevant and applicable department concepts and functions; Drafts and maintains loan processing procedures.
- Maintains SLAs and communicates and collaborates achievement to stakeholders at daily, weekly, and monthly intervals.

Experience:
- Requires one to three years of similar or related experience.
- Requires a high school education or GED.
- The Credit Union follows a hybrid work structure for some positions where employees can work remotely. On a weekly basis all WFH employees are required to be in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Based on the demands of specific tasks or department requirements, WFH employees may need to be available for in office work at their manager's discretion.
