About the Job
As a Loan Servicing Analyst within JPMorgan Chase Commercial Real Estate Loan Administration team, you will manage a large portfolio of complex and diverse construction loans. You will be responsible for commercial construction loan disbursements, project accounting, risk management, and loan documentation. You will also monitor and service Letters of Credit, perform manual interest calculation and billing, and process payments and advances accurately and timely. Job responsibilities
- Working knowledge of commercial construction loan disbursements, project accounting, risk management, and loan documentation
- Interpret legal documentation and terminology relating to bi-lateral and participated/syndicated commercial real estate transactions
- Manage Letters of Credit monitoring and servicing
- Calculate interest manually and bill accordingly
- Manage Participated/Syndicated loan servicing
- Process payments and advances accurately and timely
- Perform Second day review of multiple transactions to verify accuracy
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Finance or Accounting degree or minimum 5 years in commercial real estate construction disbursement
- Commercial Construction Real Estate Disbursement and Servicing experience required
- Accounting experience required
- Knowledge of legal documentation and terminology relating to commercial real estate transactions- bi-lateral and participated/syndicated
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with standards of business correspondence
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and time management skills; detail oriented
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and Adobe Acrobat
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness of work
- Ability to multi-task and take initiative, cheerfully and respectfully handling multiple assignments simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to organize work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines and follow up assignments with minimum direction
