PAY SCALE: $20.91 - $31.37 PER HOUR
Sacramento Credit Union is seeking candidates who have consumer loan processing/servicing experience for our Loan Services Specialist position. Individuals who have knowledge of DMV regulations, consumer loan processing, consumer loan servicing, and the ability to solve problems and perform general office functions in an accurate and timely manner would be successful in our environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- *Processes DMV documents electronically and manually.
- *Processes member insurance claim refunds, GAP and account adjustments.
- *Conducts internal department quality control for consumer lending products.
- *Processes home equity loan applications, including ordering title reports, appraisals, flood certifications and tax service.
- *Processes CUDL (Credit Union Direct Lending) applications, including: managing incoming dealer calls, processing loan stipulations, funding approved loans and booking on SCU system.
- *Provides support and training to staff and members relative to consumer lending, CUDL and DMV related issues.
- *Processes second mortgage demands and reconveyances, consumer loan pay offs and titles on paid off loans.
- *Processes credit disputes and amends credit reports.
- *Posts incoming member payments to accounts. Amends incorrect consumer loan payments.
- *Provides processing support to the Consumer Lending Department and performs administrative tasks such as scanning, mailing loan declinations and other related duties.
- *Responds to member and staff inquiries in person, by telephone, and through written communication.
- Supports Loan Services Department with administrative tasks.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. and experience in a financial institution position involving loan processing.
- Minimum of 1 year experience loan processing strongly desired.
- Knowledge of credit union products and services, policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Sales Finance Act, indirect lending and dealer policies and procedures is desirable.
- Ability to accurately operate ten key, computer and general office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively; maintain effective working relationships.
