Loan Processor - Remote - Bay Equity

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proficient with all types of AUS submissions (DU, LP & GUS)
• Experience with Encompass Operating System
• Must have extensive guideline knowledge in FHA, VA, USDA, Convention loans and experience with various down payment assistance programs.
• Experience working on brokered loans with various lenders
• Work directly with the borrowers, loan officers, underwriting, title, closing, and vendors to satisfy outstanding loan conditions in an expeditious manner.
• Communicate with all parties as appropriate at each stage of the loan process.
• Clearly explain needs list items and loan conditions to borrowers, LOA, and Loan officers so they can understand.
• Able to quickly calculate Income for various types of borrowers, including self-employed with complex tax returns
• Deliver clean, complete, and accurate files to both underwriting and closing.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and communicate professionally externally and internally with other departments and/ or business partners.
• Ability to review the CD line by line with the borrower
• Arranges signing for the borrower with the escrow officer
• Works with the funder, loan officer, and escrow officer to clear funding conditions

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan processing experience
• Experience utilizing Encompass mortgage software preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and use deductive reasoning
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Must display a working team attitude and have strong professional references
