Job Details
We are seeking a Loan Processor for a well-known bank in the Fresno area! This contract is expected to last approximately 3-5 months long but has the potential to go long term.
Responsibilities:
- Receive loan application packages, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all required documents.
- Conduct credit checks on borrowers to assess loan suitability.
- Prepare loan estimates and necessary documentation for review by senior staff.
- Coordinate the generation and distribution of loan documents to borrowers.
- Manage the loan funding process, including verification of documents and communication with relevant parties.
- Maintain organized borrower files for easy access and reference.
- Liaise with third-party entities such as title companies and appraisers for efficient processing.
- Ensure loan files undergo thorough audits and prepare required copies.
- Facilitate timely loan closures and fund disbursements as per agreements.
- Provide support to colleagues and review loan files for accuracy.
- Document and track all lending-related communications for reference.
- Manage internal refinance processes according to regulatory guidelines.
- Handle incoming calls from the Lending Department, offering assistance promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in loan processing or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in handling loan documentation and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
