Summary:
The Loan Processor manages, and reviews manufactured housing real estate loan documentation to ensure it is completed and complies with company policies and regulations. The Loan Processor works closely with borrowers, dealers, underwriters, and the Tammac Inside and Outside Sales teams.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
- Review and enter loan applications into the Loan Origination System
- Prepare required disclosures.
- Gather all documentation and information for the loan, including all approval conditions required by the underwriter.
- Submit and follow up on orders placed with third-party service providers
- Maintain and manage loan files
- Communicate with all parties involved in the transaction, including but not limited to underwriters, attorneys, title companies, appraisers, and dealers, to move the loan efficiently and accurately from application to settlement.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Communication Skills: Spanish and English fluent, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Follow-Up: Strong ability to follow up on assigned loans, maintaining consistent communication and record keeping.
Database Management: Proficiency in data entry and experience with database management systems to maintain accurate records.
Adaptability: Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required/College Degree (preferred)
- One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience that meets the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Call center environment preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week/day shift
