Job Summary:
The Manufactured Housing Loan Processing Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the loan processing team, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of manufactured housing loan applications. This role focuses on compliance, team management, and ensuring a seamless loan processing experience for borrowers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Supervision:
o Supervise, train, and mentor loan processors to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
o Monitor team workloads and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
2. Loan Processing Operations:
o Oversee the processing of manufactured housing loans, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
o Review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to underwriting guidelines.
o Collaborate with underwriters, originators, and other departments to resolve issues and expedite loan closings.
3. Customer Service:
o Ensure a positive borrower experience by addressing escalated issues and maintaining clear communication with customers and stakeholders.
o Act as a liaison between loan processors, borrowers, and third parties to resolve complex issues.
4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
o Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to manufactured housing loans.
o Conduct periodic audits of loan files to identify and address discrepancies or potential risks.
o Implement and enforce quality control measures.
5. Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities to streamline loan processing workflows and improve efficiency.
o Develop and implement best practices for the loan processing team.
o Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to manufactured housing loans.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
o 3+ years of experience in loan processing, with a focus on manufactured housing or similar loan products.
o 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Skills and Competencies:
o Strong knowledge of manufactured housing loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
o Excellent leadership and team management skills.
o Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
o Proficient in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
• Office-based
• May require occasional overtime to meet deadlines.

• Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and position self to maintain files in filing cabinets.
