Job Description:
In this VP-level role, the Loan Administration/Operations Manager will lead and oversee commercial and consumer loan documentation, processing, and credit support services. This role is based in Tampa, FL, with an expectation of daily in-office attendance and occasional flexibility as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional client service, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Supervise a team of 12, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in loan documentation and servicing
- Develop and refine loan workflow processes, including document preparation, closing, and servicing
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and bank policies throughout all loan documentation and servicing functions
- Coordinate with executive leadership, providing updates on process improvements, changes, and daily operations
- Utilize performance metrics to monitor and manage team productivity and accuracy
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial and consumer loan documentation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Background in banking, ideally with experience in institutions holding over $1 billion in assets
- Proficiency with Fiserv core banking software preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in business or finance is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to managing complex workflows
