The Role
- In this position, you’ll be accountable and responsible for preparing loan documentation for commercial loans in accordance with the loan approval. Experience with LaserPro Documentation preparation software is required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare moderately complex loan document for new commercial loans, renewals, and modifications ensuring compliance and safe and sound practices for various loan types including Commercial Real Estate, Line of Credits, Term Loans, Construction Loans, and SBA Loans
- Ensure the timely completion of all loan documentation requests
- Ensure that loan documents are complete, accurate, compliant and that all regulatory requirements are met
- Gather due diligence, entity documents, insurance, Lender instructions, necessary supporting information, etc
- Perform credit and public record information searches.
- Assure that the correct types of documents are prepared for the type of loan approved and that the approval level complies with the credit authority matrix
- Verify that the borrower/guarantor entity documents match the approved credit risk documents to ensure that the legally binding loan documents are addressed to the proper borrower/guarantor.
- Verify that the loan terms and conditions are properly captured in the documents
- Review the collateral, as appropriate for the loan type and ensure collateral is perfected in accordance with the credit approval.
- Verify that third party fees are accurately described to ensure costs are recouped by the bank.
- Coordinate final preparation of loan documents and closing procedures with applicable parties
- Maintains updated information in all necessary tracking systems to ensure that accurate statuses are communicated to all parties and that all pending items are resolved in a timely manner.

Ability to issue spot and proactively address regulatory issues
Experience handling customer disclosures and related technology contracts for large financial institutions
Possess a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
(Education / Experience)
High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years’ commercial loan documentation experience; Bachelor’s
Degree preferred.
Previous experience in finance, banking and or other related fields
Experience with LaserPro Documentation preparation software required
Familiarity with financial and lending practices
Location: Glendale, CA
Schedule: Full-time (Monday – Friday); Onsite work required initially, with the potential for a hybrid arrangement upon demonstrated success.
Compensation: $38-$40 /hr
The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate's skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
