Litigation Secretary - Kent Daniels and Associates, Inc.

Position: Litigation Secretary 

Location: Costa Mesa, CA (hybrid, fully onsite first 90 days, then 1 day remote) 

Pay: $89,000 to $95,000 annually 

Experience: Minimum 5 years litigation experience with supporting attorneys in business litigation and some transactional work in real estate; experience supporting professional liability defense preferred. 

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire  

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm or 9:00am - 5:30pm

Job Description:   

• Preparing court filings/eFiling in federal, state, and appellate courts.
• Providing assistance with calendaring and preparing TOAs and TOCs.
• Providing support with file/calendar management, expense reporting, attorney time entry, travel and general administrative functions.

Position Requirements:     

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and iManage (or similar document management system).
• Knowledge of CompuLaw, Best Authority, Kofax, and CCC Macros is a plus.
• Position requires strong organizational abilities and excellent typing, formatting, and computer skills.
• Must have excellent proofreading and writing skills, and great attention to detail.
