Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced attorney with at least five years of litigation and trial experience in both New Jersey and New York. The ideal candidate will independently manage a diverse caseload while providing strategic legal advice and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality. Strong research, writing, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Job Responsibilities
Represent clients in litigation matters in state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York. Manage all phases of case development, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, and conducting depositions, hearings, and trials. Provide strategic legal advice while ensuring clients’ best interests are represented throughout legal proceedings. Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and manage expectations. Collaborate with team members on complex legal issues while independently managing assigned cases. Ensure compliance with legal regulations and uphold client confidentiality and professional ethics.
Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school. Licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and New York. At least five years of litigation and trial experience with a proven track record of success in court. Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication skills. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills to address complex legal issues and prepare persuasive legal documents. Commitment to client service, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
