Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role with our Personal Injury / Medical Malpractice team. A Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for a range of day-to-day tasks.

We are currently seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal with a passion for justice and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in litigation, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team of legal professionals on a variety of complex cases, providing essential support and contributing to the successful resolution of litigation matters.
Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Paralegal, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing all aspects of the litigation process from initiation to resolution.
2. Assisting with case preparation, including gathering and organizing evidence, conducting legal research, and drafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
3. Coordinating and managing timelines and deadlines to ensure all court dates, filings, and other litigation-related deadlines are met.
4. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, providing case updates, addressing concerns, and answering questions.
5. Working closely with attorneys to develop legal arguments, draft pleadings and motions, and identify and synthesize relevant legal issues.
6. Attending court proceedings as needed and assisting attorneys in trial preparation and during trial.
7. Maintaining detailed case files and managing case databases to ensure information is easily accessible and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Litigation Paralegal position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
2. Proficiency in case management software and platforms.
3. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
4. Strong research skills and a thorough understanding of legal principles and procedures.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and team members.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
7. A paralegal certificate or equivalent legal education is preferred.
8. Familiarity with electronic discovery processes and procedures is a plus.
