Position Responsibilities:
- Must be well versed in both federal and state court procedures and filing requirements, including e-filing in federal courts and state courts.
- Perform administrative duties, such as calendar hearings, court, and discovery deadlines.
- Drafting of routine court documents, such as notices of appearance, motions for extension of time, motions for default, and subpoenas.
- Manage hard copy and electronic case documents, including managing email and electronic files and preparing binders of hard copy documents.
- Ability to provide internet research including pulling cases from Lexis and Westlaw, as needed.
- Assist with the general aspects of document productions (redacting, copying, Bates stamping)
- Cite-check, bluebook, and Shepardize briefs and legal memoranda.
- Organize, analyze, and index documents and exhibits.
- Assist with all aspects of deposition preparation.
- Create and maintain trial exhibit and deposition designation databases; assist with preparation of pre and post-trial briefs.
- Ability to convey information to individuals at all levels within the firm in a courteous and professional manner; strong service orientation.
- Organizes and manages litigation cases from inception to trial and appeal including document productions, deposition preparation and trial preparation.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects with changing priorities.

Job Requirements:
Position Requirements and Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with ABA paralegal certification or Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal studies, preferred
- 7 years minimum litigation paralegal experience.
- Detail oriented with strong proofreading skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of legal principles and practices
- Ability to apply understanding and knowledge of the litigation process from pretrial to post-trial.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication across a diverse group of internal and external clients, attorneys and staff while maintaining high level of work quality and customer service.
- Ability to travel locally and nationwide as needed.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
- Ability to work moderate to heavy overtime.
Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000
