Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Litigation Paralegal. The successful candidate will assist our legal team in all phases of the litigation process, from case inception to resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting legal research and gathering relevant case materials
- Drafting and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Organizing and maintaining case files and documents
- Assisting with discovery, including document production and review
- Coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Assisting with trial preparation and attendance at trial as needed
- Performing administrative tasks to support attorneys and other team members as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years of experience working as a litigation paralegal
- Strong understanding of the litigation process and procedures
- Proficiency in legal research and document management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
