About the Job

We are partnered with a firm that is looking for a litigation paralegal with labor and employment experience. All the cases are single-plaintiff and no billable hour is required. This is a remote position, with occasional in-person assistance for trials as needed. Our client has about 20 cases active in litigation and needs someone who can hit the ground running with recent labor and employment experience. This is a great position for someone who has previously worked for a solo-practitioner and is used to assisting in all matters of a case. Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in California- labor and employment
Strong understanding of the California Code of Civil Procedure
Thorough knowledge of legal terminology, key discovery statutes, principles and procedures, ability to respond to discovery, pleadings, working with clients
Bilingual in Spanish preferred- but not required
