Are you an experienced litigation paralegal with a passion for justice and an eye for detail? Our esteemed legal firm is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing for trials and a proven track record of managing complex cases. This is an excellent opportunity to work with industry leaders and contribute to high-profile cases that make a difference.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Paralegal, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings.
2. Managing case files and maintaining case documents, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
3. Conducting legal research and factual investigation to support case preparation.
4. Organizing and tracking case timelines, deadlines, and tasks.
5. Coordinating and managing document productions and responses to discovery requests.
6. Preparing trial exhibits and assisting in deposition preparation.
7. Communicating with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other attorneys.
8. Maintaining compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
9. Assisting in the development of legal arguments, motions, and other case filings.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Litigation Paralegal position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
2. A Bachelor's Degree, a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent.
3. Proficiency in preparing for trials, including managing complex cases.
4. Excellent research skills with a high level of proficiency in legal research tools.
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
8. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
