Salary: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour (DOE)
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal/Para-Secretary to support our legal team in Modesto, CA. This role involves assisting attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from case preparation to trial support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about the litigation process.

Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and Case Management Conference (CMC) statements and file them with the court.
• Coordinate hearings, deadlines, and case logistics (e.g., calendar management, file organization).
• Organize exhibits, evidence, and production documents for trials.
• Draft interrogatories, requests for production, and responses to discovery.
• Collect and analyze relevant case information from multiple sources.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including preparing trial binders.
• Support the settlement process and assist with settlement documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Proficiency in motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Extensive computer skills and experience with legal software and document management systems.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; paralegal certification or further education in legal studies is a plus.
