Job Details
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, with specific experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, bad faith, or trucking litigation being highly desirable. The candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and trial support.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
Prepare, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and accessible.
Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other court-related activities.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.
Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits, witness lists, and other trial-related materials.
Handle administrative duties related to case management and office operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
Experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, bad faith, or trucking litigation is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures.
Proficient in legal research and legal document management.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Paralegal certification or relevant degree is preferred.
