Job Summary

A highly regarded law firm in California is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal with extensive knowledge of California legal procedures. This role supports attorneys in handling high-profile, complex litigation cases across diverse practice areas. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in document management, trial preparation, and eDiscovery while meeting annual billable hour targets.

This is a primarily on-site position at the Los Angeles office, with limited remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive litigation support, from case filing through trial and post-trial phases.
• Oversee document production, manage discovery logs, and organize case files.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials, including witness outlines and exhibit documentation.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents with high attention to detail.
• Conduct legal research and cite-checking for briefs and filings.
• Collaborate with litigation support teams for eDiscovery and document review.
• Maintain high-quality client service and meet established billable hour targets.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, with expertise in California law.
• Licensure: Must meet the requirements to work and bill as a paralegal under California Business & Professions Code Section 6450.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions.
  • Skilled in eDiscovery tools (e.g., iPro) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience with Westlaw or Lexis for legal research.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of California legal procedures, rules, and eDiscovery processes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, ethical standards, confidentiality, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $101,920 - $124,800 per year.
