Our prestigious law firm is actively seeking a seasoned Permanent Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This unique opportunity will place you at the heart of our litigation department, where you will play a vital role in managing complex litigation cases, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of the legal process. This role is ideally suited for a motivated professional with a strong background in litigation support, case management, document review, and client relations.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Litigation Paralegal, your core responsibilities will include:
1. Providing comprehensive litigation support to our team of attorneys throughout all stages of the litigation process, from the initial information gathering stage through trial and appeal.
2. Managing and coordinating complex cases, including organizing and tracking case files, creating and maintaining case management databases, and ensuring all case materials are up-to-date and easily accessible.
3. Conducting thorough and efficient document reviews, including analyzing and summarizing legal documents, identifying key information, and assisting in the preparation of reports and other legal documents.
4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication and exceptional service.
5. Assisting with trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, preparing exhibits, coordinating witness preparation, and providing in-court support as needed.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Permanent Litigation Paralegal position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in the litigation field, with a strong background in litigation support, case management, document review, and client relations.
2. A bachelor's degree in law or a related field, or a paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
3. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
4. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
7. A deep understanding of legal terminology, court rules and procedures, evidentiary rules, and local, state, and federal rules of civil procedure.
