Litigation Paralegal

Schedule: 4 days onsite and 1 day remote after 90 days. 5x per wk onsite until 90 days are reached

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support our law firm client in NYC. The selected candidate will work in our client-s Adult Sexual Abuse Department in their NYC office. The selected candidate must be reliable and professional to work as part of our close-knit team. A successful candidate should have excellent communication and writing skills; must be highly organized and detail oriented. Hybrid work schedule offered to staff based on length of employment and measurable productivity.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with clients

• Preparing and exchanging discovery demands, responses and authorizations

• Obtaining and exchanging medical records

• Court filings

• Other administrative duties as needed

Required Skills

• Experience of 4+ years with negligence and personal injury cases required

• Ability to preparing and exchange court filings, discovery demands, responses and authorizations

• Litigation experience STRONGLY preferred

• Experience in medical malpractice is a BIG PLUS.

• Experience reviewing medical records is a plus

• Paralegal certificate preferred
