Position: Full-Time Litigation Paralegal (Medical Malpractice Experience Required)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal fact-finding and basic legal research.
• Review and analyze new matters, including ordering medical and other relevant records.
• Assemble, review, and summarize records.
• Assist with case management, including organizing legal documents for depositions and trials.
• Organize and electronically file pleadings.
• Support attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation.
• Coordinate and schedule calendars.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a law office; a background in nursing or comparable healthcare field is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
• Self-starter with excellent research skills using LexisNexis or Westlaw.
• Exceptional writing skills and high-level computer proficiency.
