Litigation Paralegal at CornerStone Staffing

CornerStone Staffing has partnered with City of Dallas and is seeking a Litigation Paralegal. Seeking an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated litigation paralegal to the team.

Position: Litigation Paralegal (Torts Section)
Pay: $25/hour
Location: Downtown Dallas (must pay for own parking)
Hours: Monday–Friday | 8 AM–5 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in defending personal injury claims, including motor vehicle collisions and premises liability cases.

• Collect and organize documentary evidence and case information.

• Summarize depositions and file documents in Texas state courts.

• Manage deadlines, draft, and respond to discovery requests.

• Handle subpoenas and third-party discovery requests.

• Research legal issues and process correspondence.

• Prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, and case-related documents.

• Assist in preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

• Support the creation of trial and appellate briefs.

• Maintain regular communication with the public, city officials, and staff.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is required

• Must have strong pre-trial and trial experience in Texas state courts

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, and e-discovery platforms

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
