Salary/Hourly Rate:
$70k – $80k
Position Overview:
The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal assistance and support to a new Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate for the Litigation Paralegal role will have prior experience in litigation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work cohesively within a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal:
- Assist the Attorney in the preparation and filing of all court documents.
- Organize and manage documents, including collecting, reviewing, and analyzing evidence for case preparation.
- Conduct legal research and support in the preparation of legal briefs and discovery documents.
- Draft correspondence, memos, and other legal documents as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date and organized case files.
- Collaborate with the Attorney to prepare for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Act as a liaison between the Attorney, clients, court officials, and other parties.
Qualifications for the Litigation Paralegal:
- Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved institution or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a litigation paralegal role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and legal software applications.
- Exceptional communication and organization skills.
- Ability to multitask, effectively manage time, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
