Job Description:
The Legal Litigation Paralegal will provide essential support to a team of attorneys by managing case documents, filing deadlines, and client communications. This position is 100% onsite and offers hands-on training for candidates eager to develop their skills in litigation support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents using firm-specific software.
- Draft and revise correspondence, legal forms, and other documentation as needed.
- Manage e-filing processes through court site portals.
- Maintain docket calendars and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Open new client files, conduct conflict checks, and support billing processes.
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary records and ensure timely submission of filings.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing invoices and client correspondence.
- Provide general office support for 4–5 attorneys.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3–5 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, with a focus on litigation.
- Proficiency in eDiscovery software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and other office tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under deadlines.
Additional Details:
- Work hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch.
- Business casual dress code.
- The office has approximately 50 employees.
- Candidates must be comfortable working onsite full-time.
- Training is available for candidates with strong technical skills and a willingness to learn.
