Our law firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional individual who is well-versed in the legal industry and has a passion for the law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support, trial preparation, legal research, legal assistance, drafting pleadings, and e-discovery. The Permanent Litigation Paralegal will work closely with our team of attorneys to provide top-quality legal service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive litigation support to our team of attorneys throughout all stages of litigation.
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing evidence and witnesses, coordinating logistics, and preparing trial binders.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various legal issues to support case preparation.
- Offer legal assistance in case management, including maintaining case files, scheduling and coordinating meetings, hearings, and depositions.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Manage e-discovery processes, including the identification, collection, review, and production of electronic data.
- Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures, as well as with our firm's internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal or in a similar role in the legal industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is required. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
- Proficient in litigation support, trial preparation, legal research, legal assistance, drafting pleadings, and e-discovery.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear and concise summaries.
- Proficient in the use of legal research software, e-discovery tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Must be a team player, but also able to work independently when required.
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
