About the Job
One of our favorite law firm clients is seeing a Litigation Paralegal to join a successful team whose cases include a variety of commercial litigation matters. We are seeking a paralegal with at least five years of experience with state and federal matters.
Responsibilities of Litigation Paralegal will include:
- Performing research
- Communicating with clients and other involved parties
- Handling files through all phases of litigation and trial preparation
- Drafting pleadings, motions and other legal documents
- Assisting with discovery
- Preparing trial binders, and preparing and indexing exhibits
- Interviewing witnesses and preparing witness testimonies
- Assisting with the preparation of court proceedings
- Maintaining files and databases, organizing case files
- Assisting in other related areas and with special projects as needed
To be considered, paralegal candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as a billing paralegal and strong technical skills including MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
