Position: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Employee Status: Full-Time u2013 Non-exempt
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday (Minimum of 4 days per week in-office. 90-day probationary period with 5 days in-office.)
Education: Minimum u2013 Associateu2019s Degree/Paralegal Certificate; Preferred u2013 Bacheloru2019s Degree
Experience: 5-7 years as a Litigation Paralegal
Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000/year; plus benefits
Responsibilities:
u2022Draft pleadings, correspondence, and discovery documents
u2022Organize and maintain files
u2022File documents with local, state, and federal courts (including e-filing)
u2022Schedule and summarize depositions
u2022Assist with trial preparation
u2022Review attorney billing
u2022Revise and calendar meetings and court dates
u2022Schedule travel
u2022Perform general administrative duties
Candidate Qualifications:
u20225-7 years of experience in litigation; employment & labor experience preferred
u2022Paralegal certificate required; college, business school, or other relevant continuing education preferred
u2022Proficiency with Microsoft Word (including document versions, redlining, TOA, and TOC), Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
u2022Experience with ProLaw and NetDocs (or similar document management systems) is a plus
u2022Strong oral and written communication skills
u2022Commitment to excellent customer service
u2022Ability to demonstrate flexibility and initiative
u2022Excellent organization and prioritization skills
u2022High level of accuracy in proofreading/editing
u2022Strong process orientation
