Litigation Legal Assistant - Robert Half

Description A national full-service law firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support one partner and two associates with Insurance Defense and Coverage cases. The salary range for the role is 70-95k DOE, and offers medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k, PTO, paid court holidays and other perks. Tasks include: - Proactive and heavy calendaring - E-filing in Washington State and Federal Courts, including King County - Prepping, proofreading and formatting pleadings, correspondence and other legal documents such as discovery requests and responses, summaries and indices for medical records, motions, subpoenas, and trial-related documents, and analyzing medical billing records - Maintaining and organizing documents within Net Docs software - Utilizing Adobe Pro to format and covert PDFs - Communicating with courts Requirements Requirements: - 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant - At least one year of experience supporting insurance defense or insurance coverage cases in Washington state - Experience supporting multiple attorneys - Proactive calendaring skills - E-filing in Washington State and Federal Courts including King County - Technical software skills with Adobe Pro, Microsoft Office Suite and some form of case management software (Net Docs a plus) - Proven ability to work remotely - Strong understanding of local court rules, procedures, and how to get court-related questions answered.
