Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal

TempExperts is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal with extensive experience in Federal cases to join a dynamic legal team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and able to provide comprehensive support to multiple attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case management, legal research, and document preparation.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
• Maintain and update case management databases and tracking systems.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of electronic court submissions (e-filing) in federal courts.
• Perform administrative tasks such as calendaring deadlines, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant/paralegal, with a focus on federal cases.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Strong understanding of federal court procedures and e-filing systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
