About the Job
Adams & Martin Group is working with an insurance defense firm focused on personal and catastrophic injury. The firm is looking for a dedicated and experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join the team.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years as a civil litigation legal assistant or secretary in a fast-paced law firm (personal injury experience preferred).
- Self-starter with a proactive work ethic.
- Proficient in case intake/opening, deadline management, and attorney support.
- Experienced with filing/service in California superior, federal, and appellate courts.
- Knowledgeable in pleadings, discovery, expert designation, depositions, and trial-triggered deadlines.
- Comfortable with client and insurance carrier communications.
- Trial preparation experience, including preparing, filing, and serving trial documents, motions, and exhibit binders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Note: This is not a Paralegal hybrid role.
